Purpose: Learn about slides,layouts,fontwork,propertise and master page in presentation.

  • Typing text in text document and its properties.
  • Files and folder operations.

    How do you create a presentation,change the slide layout, insert a duplicate slide, hide and rename a slide, delete a particular slide?

    Exercise:2


    Create a presentation in English? Use different types of layout and type the Animal's name using fontwork with its picture in five slides. Use master pages to the slides. Exercise instructions can be as below:

  • Open the presentation
  • Insert five slides
  • Type animal’s name in it and insert the appropriate animal below the name
  • Set any slide as the master slide and gallery option for images.
  • Use properties and formatting tool (bold , italic and underline, etc,.)

    How to create a presentation in Tamil? Use different types of layout and type the Bird's name using fontwork with its picture in five slides. Use master pages to the slides. Exercise instructions can be as below:

  • Open the presentation
  • Insert five slides
  • Type animal’s name in it and insert the appropriate animal below the name
  • Use properties and formatting tool (bold , italic and underline, etc,.)

    Teacher Instruction
    1. Have 'Animal' and 'Bird' folder somewhere in your PC so that the required image file is available for the students in PC while doing the exercise.
    2. Teachers insist the students to make presentaion according to the medium of studying.
    3. For typing Students should use layout,fontwork,drawing tool "text" option, they should type using all these three methods
    4. Teachers insist that they also type in tamil.
    5. Use the words “layout”, “properties”, “master pages”. “slide”, “insert”, etc. while teaching. They need to become familiar with these words.
    6. Save the presentation which we have created in the exercise to edit for the next lesson.
    7. Teachers should explain all the features of gallery tool.
    8. Teacher should allow students to complete the exercise as a group.
